Prevent & Protect
Magen New York is a Jewish grassroots initiative dedicated to creating a healthier and safer community for our children through awareness, education, prevention and protection.
Based in Queens, Magen New York’s program addresses the needs of schools, parents, and children, giving them the necessary tools to promote a safe environment.
Magen NY has trained school staff, administration, and clinicians at major North American cities including Toronto, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Miami.
Magen New York has implemented the “Safety Kid” program in the Queens elementary Yeshivas. This comprehensive program, developed by Aleinu in Los Angeles, teaches the ABCDEs of safety and is a collaborative effort that unites parents, schools, and children to promote awareness and understanding about child safety. The ultimate goal is to work together to provide an environment that fosters emotional and physical well being so children can thrive.
